The nearest port from Pulau Tioman is Mersing Port, so all tourists take ship from here.
There are airport so flight is another choice!

Take ship at Mersing Port in Johor, Penang, 1.5 ship time, RM70/person/with return
From Kuala Lumpur：Buy tickets at Hentian Puduraya Station to Mersing Station, then take taxi RM10元/car (4 pl in a car) to Mersing port, then you can take ship.
From Melaka ：You should take 5 hour bus to Mersing port (RM23)
From Singapore：You can take bus at Newton Circus Court and Jalan Sultan Bus Station
